Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 30 years as on 04-09-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree (Civil Engg or Mechanical Engg or Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engg/ Architecture), CA/ ICWA, MBA, PG Diploma, M.Sc/ M.Tech (Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geophysics). Refer notificaiton for discipline wise educational qualification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test, group discussion and interview.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.300/- for General/ OBC category candidates through online or offline mode.

Offline Mode: Candidates can pay through offline using Bank Challan/ Pay-in-Slip (available after completion of registration process) which must be deposited at State Bank of India in a specially opened account at New Shimla Branch, Shimla, on behalf of SJVN on or before 05-09-2013 by 4.00 PM.

Online Mode: Candidates can pay online through the payment gateway using Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card. System generated e-receipt must be retained by the candidate.

How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply online through the website “www.sjvn.nic.in” by filling all the mandatory details from 14-08-2013, 10.00 AM to 04-09-2013 by 6.00 PM. After submission of application form, candidates are required to take printout of system generated online application form for future reference.

Instructions to Apply Online:

1. Log on to “www.sjvn.nic.in”

2. Select appropriate advertisement link.

3. Fill all the mandatory details and upload scanned copy of photograph and signature.

4. Make payment as mentioned above.

5. Submit error free application form.

6. Take print out of submitted online application application form for future reference.

Important Dates:

Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: 14-08-2013, 10.00 AM

Closing Date for Submission of Online Application: 04-09-2013 by 6.00 PM

Issuing of the Admit Card for Written Test: 14-09-2013, 10.00 AM

Tentative Date of Written Test (will be confirmed in Admit Card): 06-10-2013
